The objective of the promotion was to activate and inspire people to download and install Horizon Go app during the UEFA2016 Championship. Horizon Go is a TV on the Go service app of UPC, cable TV provider. You can take your TV channels with you anywhere and watch it online.

If you ever have experienced missing an important moment of a match because of such a ridiculous reason like popping out to the bathroom, you will immediately understand the benefit of TV on the Go service. Any moment of the match can be the best moment. So it is not worth missing out any of them.

The promotion has started on facebook. We have invited fans to watch UEFA 2016 matches in specially selected bars and pubs. If they come and install the Horizon Go app, they can win a UEFA 2016 final watching in a VIP place for 8 people. In the bars we have installed mobiles and tablets into the walls of the bathrooms and launched the Horizon Go app on the devices. Hostesses informed fans about the bathroom phenomena. So the fans could follow the match and did not miss any moment – even when they were literary using the bathroom. They were really grateful and immediately understand the benefit of the TV on the go service. This generated immediate downloads and installations.

With this innovative promotion we gave a first hand live experience of the TV on the Go service in the right moment. This is why during the promotional period we have doubled the installation of the app.
