Ketchum Global Partner and CEO of Ketchum in Austria 

In 2010, Saskia became CEO of Austria´s most traditional PR Agency Publico, leading the firm through the merger with the global communications consultancy Ketchum and transforming Ketchum Publico to what it is today: probably the most integrated and unconventional PR-firm in Austria. Saskia´s team at Ketchum Vienna has obtained multiple awards such as the Austrian PR-Staatspreis, PR Report Award, European Excellence Award and several successes at the Sabre Competition including a Global Sabre Award. 

In her role as PR consultant and client director, Saskia worked for renowned companies like Austrian Airlines, McDonald´s, Erste Group, PwC or Tetra Pak, specializing in corporate communication, crisis communication, and litigation PR as well as in messaging and storytelling. As a member of the European Board, she was also in charge of developing the agency´s reach in Central and Eastern Europe and built up a strong network of affiliates across the region in the early 2000s. As Ketchum Global Partner, Saskia is a regular speaker and facilitator in the field of storytelling, leadership, employee engagement and networking.  She regularly serves as Jury Member for Ketchum´s Global Scholar Program as well as for national and international Award Shows and is a trainer at Ketchum University. 

Saskia holds a PhD in law and a degree of the Johns Hopkins University in International Studies. Before starting her career in PR at Publico in 1998, she worked at the Austrian Constitutional Court in Vienna, at the European Commission in Brussels and in marketing and sales in the retail banking industry.
