We are pleased to announce that the Head of Creative Jury this year will be Mr. Jörg Riommi, Chief Creative Officer of Publicis Romania / Publicis One, Romania
Jorg's work gained a couple of hundred awards at major festivals such as: D&AD, Cannes Lions, Clio, One Show, LIA, Eurobest, Effie, NYF, Epica, Golden Drum, ADC and others.
He was part of several international juries including Dubai Lynx 2010, New York Festival 2012, Eurobest 2014, CLIO 2016, Golden Drum 2016, The One Show 2017.
From 2002 to mid-2014 Jorg has been working for Saatchi&Saatchi as a creative thinker, senior copywriter, and then as creative director and executive creative director. He has been part of Saatchi Rome, S. Juan Puerto Rico, Bucharest, Frankfurt and Berlin, and worked as a join creative for several network projects in Madrid, Amsterdam, Paris, Copenhagen, Geneva, Brussels, Milan and New York.
After 2 years and a half as CCO at Publicis Romania, the agency is #1 agency in the country (Gunn Report 2016, EFFIE Effectiveness Index Romania 2016), #1 Publicis office in CEE and #4 Publicis office WW (Cannes 2016) - winning 89 awards including a D&AD, 3 Lions, 4 Grand Prix at Golden Drum (Digital x2, Media and PR), Gold Eurobest 2016 and new business with a pitch success rate of 65%. Creative jury evaluates the entries in Film, Print, Outdoor, Radio, Design and Brandings, Craft and Social categories.
Participation in the festival can be applied till 23 April in one of 14 categories – Film, Print, Outdoor, Radio, Digital and Mobile, Design and Branding, Media, Direct, Promo & Activation, Campaigns, PR, Craft, Content and Entertainment, and Social.
The Golden Hammer 2017 competition entries will be judged by the jury from 16 different countries, from both major networks and outstanding independent creative agencies.
The lists of finalists will be drawn up online during May. Jury members will then come together on 31 May, to decide on the winners, with the conference and awards event taking place in Riga on 2 June.
